Oncology patient at primary level –
The course objectives include:
- types of treatment for the oncology patient,
- identifying the most common complications of an individual oncology treatment,
- procedure for insertion of an atraumatic needle into a venous valve (VAP),
- reflux testing,
- application of the i.v. therapy,
- removal of the atraumatic needle,
- recognition of (VAP) complications,
- PICC catheter (peripherally inserted central venous catheter).
